A Message from our Principal
Welcome to what I believe will be our most MARVELous year yet! I hope you all have had time to recharge and POWER up for the WONDERful school year that awaits us! Just like this past school year, the summer has flown by, but I hope that your summer consisted of relaxing and making memories with your families. Very soon, our little superheroes will be walking through our doors with hidden powers under their capes waiting to be discovered by all of us. I am SUPER pumped for the endless possibilities we have in store for us this year!
As you all know, this year is going to look a little different. In fact, since March, our world has been a little different. In Catawba County Schools we are so blessed to have leaders that see the importance of having our students in our building. Even though our K-1st grade and cluster students will only be at school Monday-Thursday, our 2nd-12th graders are only going to be with us 50% of the time, and our school procedures may take some time to adjust, our staff is thrilled to have our students back! We are dedicated to following our safety guidelines to ensure little ones stay healthy and our doors remain open.
As we approach the beginning of another MARVELous school year, I hope we can all remember that we have all been blessed with SUPERpowers, and it’s our MISSION to provide love each and every day to children from all different kinds of cities and skyscrapers. Leaders use their POWERS for good, and at Mountain View we are devoted to finding the superpowers inside each of our students waiting to be discovered.
I look forward to an INCREDIBLE year with all of Mountain View’s SUPERHEROES!
